Sophie Harris

Sophie is a Senior Investment Analyst in Railpen's Sustainable Ownership team.

She is responsible for delivering materiality-based ESG research for equity and infrastructure opportunities, leading outcome-driven stewardship with investee companies, and contributing to regulatory reporting. Sophie's role at Railpen centres on identifying and managing ESG risk across a range of pooled funds.

Sophie sits on our Modern Slavery Working Group and represents Railpen across coalitions including the Royal London Asset Management-led Cybersecurity Coalition and the CCLA 'Find it, Fix it, Prevent it' campaign on modern slavery. She was also one of Financial News' 2023 Rising Stars of Fund Management.

Having graduated with a First Class BA in Anthropology from Durham University, Sophie joined Railpen in 2019 as an intern before moving into the role of Investment Analyst in 2020 and then being promoted into the role of Senior Investment Analyst in 2023.
