Our communities

Helping other communities

We believe in giving back and our colleagues passionately support local, national and international communities and causes. We do this through a mix of fundraising, providing paid leave to support nationwide volunteering as well as supporting charities local to our offices.

To date, our people have shared their skills and knowledge with more than 1,200 students from across the country, engaging them in the importance of financial planning and pensions.

In Darlington, our people have helped us to support St Therese's Hospice for more than a decade through a range of fundraising activities. Raffles, garden parties, casual clothes day donations and a sponsored head shave are some of the many things we have done to help raise money for the hospice, which provides a vital service in the local community.

Championing industry communities

We actively participate across the various pensions and investment industries we work in. Leading on and collaborating to develop new best practices that will improve both the future of our members and members of all pension schemes. Our people help lead and participate in many global collaborations including:

Railpen communities

At each of our local offices, we have active social committees supported by Railpen. These groups work hard to support our fundraising initiatives and also opportunities for us to come together as colleagues.
